#AceBusinessNews Earlier this month, the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies agreed to reduce oil production by 9.7 million barrels per day in May and June, followed by 7.7 million per day for the second half of the year, and then by 5.8 million per day until April 2022


“According to experts from the energy industry cited by Bloomberg, daily consumption of oil could plunge by 15-22 million barrels in April vs the same period last year, with the price of Brent Crude Oil benchmark, currently traded at less than $20 per barrel, likely to nosedive to $10 per barrel amid an over-excess of oil.”

#AceBusinessNews The Brazilian state oil and gas company Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) said on Tuesday it would produce an average of 2.26 million barrels of oil per day (bpd) in April as opposed to 2.07 million barrels, as earlier planned, due to unexpectedly high demand @Sputnik reports


“”With the better than expected evolution of demand for our products, we opted for the gradual return to an average oil production level of 2.26 MMbpd in April alongside an increase in the utilization factor of our refineries,” the company said in the Q1 production and sales report.”

JUST IN: A study of vulnerabilities – bugs that can be a gateway for malware or allow privilege escalation by an intruder – shows that Windows platforms have the most by far, but that they also tend to be fixed quickly, compared to Linux systems or appliances like routers, printers and scanners
