‘Visionary’ motion for DNA testing of dog poo withdrawn at council meeting

A local council in Melbourne’s north will not start DNA testing dog poo found on its footpaths, after a councillor withdrew his proposal, acknowledging the plan costing more than $100,000 was “probably a little bit too visionary”.
